Spring Detail 2008

Heres some quick pics I snapped yesterday. I spent my nice warm day detailing the car for the year... Same as last year basically, this year I happened to be at wal mart and saw a meguiars kit on sale for $20, had NXT 2.0 + 6 other detailers, the wax alone was worth the value to me.

So I rinsed it, clay barred it, buffed some scratches out (tried), washed with Jpacks secret formula haha, waxed, and buffed. Detailed the wheels and some stainless steel. I need to do the interior, which Ill probably do the Friday before the WI Dells show. Its sitting under a cover now for a couple weeks.

I also have some pics of the damage the bastard theives caused. Locks really ****** up, so I may claim it under insurance.. I have to see what the deductible is, and Im going to try to file a police report tomorrow.

I plan on getting some more pics in a couple weeks, I just stopped somewhere off the side of the road quick near my parents house when it looked like an opportune time with the clouds. Ill get some better ones later.. man o man is the car smooth though, NXT is still the best wax Ive ever used. Anyway, enjoy.

Looks really good! I am going to try to clay my car again sometime soon.... I did it in October for the first time, and I was pleased with the result.

That sucks about the theives, they really did screw up your locks...

Car does look really good Justin.

Wasn't there a company that made basicly black stickers you could put over your key holes to clean up the look? That would really help the look of the passanger's door lock.

I should have gotten a side view of it, but I dont think those will work because they actually bent it out past where it was flush with the body.. ers.

Anyways, I think I may just get it fixed under insurance.. I dont want the lock to be ****** like that, not that I need to use it, but its just mangled. That and its not just scratched, they actually chipped into the fiberglass. Id rather just have the bodywork done I think.
