Oh yeah, I forgot to ask you about your front plate. Did you cut it to that size, or is it just wrapped around your airdam?

There's a guy here who has a White one similar to mine, and he ended up cutting the plate almost that same size, then sticking between the foglights where the red bowtie is. I would have thought that to be illegal, but he's had it like that for over a year now.

I have mine attached to the bottom side of the passenger sunvisor, so if I see a cop.....I flip the visor down and it's visible from the front of the car.

The law states: "The most forward point of the vehicle".. or somthing along those lines. I put it there because I didnt have my front plate on for a long time, then some cop had to hassle me and tell me to put one on by a verbal warning... So I put it on the airdam (its just bent back, mostly from scraping lol)

I plan on getting personalized plates around June, so Ill put it back on the front then... I just think it looks way better without a plate there.

I couldn't agree with you more, especially since I have the billet grill. I guess I'm just curious about what I was referring to with the guy who cut his plate down and mounted it in the stock location.

Try to imagine the front of your car with your plate the same size it looks on the airdam, and having it mounted just in the black area between the foglights. That's what his looks like, and it's been that way for over a year.

But wouldn't you think that cutting up a front plate would be illegal? I mean you don't have to have tabs on them, so why would you need anything other than the numbers & letters? hhmmmmm.........The law sucks!

Hm... I know here you only need tabs on the rear lisence plate... I remember hearing somewhere that as long as the 6 (or however many) number/letter code is showing, its not a problem... although Im sure its looked down upon. Maybe he had it on the airdam and got pulled over and told to put it where its supposed to be.
