I plan on goin 2.5% on the back and sides on my car, unless they start crackin down again with it around here, i probobly wont care anyway after my car is repainted and everything its only coming out on warm sunny days. its not goin to see any shity weather |
It looks good, but the one thing I've noticed, particularly where I live, is that tint = break ins.
It sounds like a stupid correlation, but I've had friends who have never gotten their cars broken into before put tint on, and the very next week they were picking glass out of their driver seats. I have a stereo, and I have no tint. No one has broken in. Nothing is left in plain view, yet by not having tint, nothing is left to the imagination either. I like the way it looks, but I wouldn't get tint on my car. $200 for the tint, and $200 for my insurance deductible after the break in? I'll save my $400 bucks to go towards new rubber. |
I had 15% all around on my Beretta til I got pulled over. Now it's gone from my front sides since they're supposed to be 72% transparent.
I plan on 15 all around for the Camaro too. It's too damn hot in that car to drive around with the windows up, so it'll just look pretty sitting still and I shouldn't have to worry about tickets. |
