Oh I completely understand what you're sayin bud, but I'd highly recommend not going too low if you don't want to have that constant worry about scraping on things. I think yours look good like it is, and if I were still young and full of "go for it", I'd definitely need to raise mine up.

Enjoy it the way it is Bro,.....lower later on when going fast don't matter as much. I think once I put a few more miles on the engine, I'll do some motor work to it and then probably pop the GFX off to go Road Course Racing with it.

So what,......why do they have to match?.....Unless your showing your car on stands without tires, who's gonna see 'em? Do you think because my springs are yellow and all my other suspension uprades are red, my car is less appealing?

Your just jealous and you know it!

Same thing goes with my GFX.....they've dropped in price over $100.00 since I bought them at Andy's Auto Sports back in October,........besides, if I was going to lie about what I paid for something, I'd be saying they were more expensive, not super cheap.

Thanks Grant,.......I'm so bummed my friend had to spaz out on me there at the end, cause I had everything planned out to have the flame job on it by the end if April.

What sucks is that I'll never find anyone else who would do the flames for $1000.00 (my buddy price) Oh well, I'm still gonna do everything else in your chop.

I may have to take you up on that,.....but it wouldn't be for a little while. I'm taking care of my oldman until the cancer takes him. After that I'm selling my Condo and moving down there. The last time I was in So Cali, was back in '87, and I swore I'd return there to live some day.

After all these years, I can still remember how it felt to be down there.......man I can't wait. And we'll definitely hook up when I do, regardless of what area I end up in. And I have to say thanks just for the offer bro,.....that was cool.

Thanks Bro ~ ya know before I put the GFX on it, it was never a problem at this height. The only thing that scaped on things was my airdam and that was no big deal, but the only way to have a car this low without it becoming a problem, is to make sure you also replace the shocks and struts, and the LCA's with relocation brackets.

Also a new Panhard bar is a good idea. Plus I replaced all the bushings with poly-urethanes, so it really doesn't move around on me too much. The only thing I really have to slow down for is: speed bumps, railroad crossings, and pitched entrances, but out on the main roads I drive it like anybody else.....well, not everybody.

You'd be surprised how crazy I actully drive this thing. Even with all the weight in back (system) you'll still catch me laying posi marks from time to time.

Yea my car had been lowered and I just got some Long Tube Headers with ORY installed and the ground clearance is way too crappy for me. I can't even pull into my driveway no matter what angle I take it at.

Anyways, i'm going to restore the car to stock height. I hate to do it but i'd rather do that then damage or remove my exhaust.

Hey, I don't blame you at all bud. That's one of those sacrifices that you have to make for what's the most important at the time. I'm gonna put some headers on my car this summer, but they'll obviously have to be shorties or mid-length.

I'm like'n the BBK mid-length headers w/Y-Pipe so I can keep my emissions stuff on there and keep it legal. Wa. State laws are so strict. :banghead:
