2 weeks ago.. we went to the track with jdm211's k20 eg and was untuned. even untuned he managed to pull 223whp and 158tq and run a 12.1 @ 111mph.

now the car is dynotuned is making 235whp and 165 tq. and 11.9 @ 113mph.

howd you get 223 whp un tuned? isnt that motor only making like 205 hp stock? im gonna guess you have a good amount of internal work done to that thing.

thats impresive. but the rsx motor makes 205 hp stock right? so how were yo9u getting 223 whp without any tune on a motor thats rated at 205 hp? im just curious

i think intake is not stock, exhoust the same, and motor can be still stock.
right?

you have kpro and you say your untunned your nuts....if you load a map from kpro guess what your tuned

ok, smart ***, i have a base map, but its not tuned properly, so if i put a base map from a d17 on k pro for my k20 is that tuned? its tuned now that i went 11.6s making235hp and 164tq, and as this guy said "TUNED" first pull, it made 223hp and 156tq

your gonna need to get the story straight. cause the first guy said untuned 223 whp and your saying with a tune it made 223 whp.

frankly im gonna call bullshit on this. a stock motor with an intake and exhaust wont put down 223 whp when stock its rated at 200. that means that the motor from factory has zero % drivetrain loss or was extremely under rated. you switch maps to one thats more beneficial, even if not to the full potential, its still tuned. you run what came with the car from fatory, thats untuned. thats liek saying my last car was making 300+ whp untuned but cause it was turbocharged it was sticll basically stock. lol

buddy of mine has acura RSX type S with a JR S/C running 11 psi tuned and puts down just over 320whp with full bolt on's upgraded everything with s/c cams...so i read this and call bs your dyno guy is telling you flywheel hp if your lucky.

someone that know hondas back me up, both of you guys sound the same, how would i ran 11.6s if i wasn't making 235hp, how would you guys know what its making, one drives a mustang, and the other a trans am, your in brampton, i'll show you my sheet if you what to see it, and i tuned it,......................................dont hate that i only need 4 cylinders to make that power.

ok bud im really not trying to be an *** and i dont doubt that you ran an 11.6 hell i have 450whp in my t/a and im sure i could not hit 11.6 without an amazing launch and slicks and no wind...lol

i owned a 03 rsx-s and i know how fast they are all my buddies drive hondas and ive worked on every one of them....only reason your running 11.6 is because your car is paper light...a type S with a s/c running 11lbs does 13's with everything going good for them.

and hell your in brampton...if you want to hang out and talk to some hardcore honda guys let me know my buddy jordan has tuned about half the k20's in ontario and is well know on clubrsx.
