Well, we were going to wait to talk about our first time at the track, but there were alot of people at the track last night and we new it would come out anyway. I'm really happy about our first trip to the track. The car ran flawlessly. We did not change anything except tires to run. I wanted to see what it would do in basic street trim. It needs a softer rear shock/spring set up for better transfer and I need to remove the huge TRD front swaybar. The car weighed 3735 with me in it, it's the heaviest car I have run down the strip besides my Chevy 454SS. I only ran a few passes, just to see how it would run. There is a fine line between spinning or bogging it. My 60fts [were], 1.64-1.69, I need to work on them. I think the car is capable of some 10.30-10.40s @ 142-144mph with the right launch.
:thumbsup :thumbsup

Can't wait 'til spring '06 :cheeky4:

I may be a newb, but I was wondering can you put a newer generation turbo supra motor into those cars?...

I dont know, for some reason that motor looks like the supra one... lol...

That HAS the "newer generation turbo supra motor"

Hence Notorious putting "2JZ GTE" in his post.

Now that is why I drive a Lexus SC400, wait untell project SCTT is done... That probally is the fastest US SC300, but not SC in the world, you guys should check out some of the Aussie rides, a few guys have gotten -9 seconds on the 1/4 mile, but this is an even better track car. Hail to the L baby..
