Weekly cruise-in pics! 06-22-05

i showed my lack of knowledge with my new camera on this outing, most of my pics were far too underexposed...so i only walked away with less than 10% of them turning out decent.
live and learn!
what do ya guys think?

very nice photographic shots, but I also noticed that you don't like to take pictures of the whole car at all.....ever.... they're very nice professional shots though good job.

Sorry but I have to agree with Adam, I'd rather have pictures of the entire cars. My sister's taking classes in college for photography(sp) and whenever she takes pictures of my car I don't really care for them because they're pictures of just little area's of it but never the entire thing which is what everyone wants to see.

thats what makes good photography shots, guys. Live with it, lol. Its not meant to just show off the whole car.

I like this one the best:

I know what's considered a good photography shot but why wouldn't pictures taken of cars at a car show be made to show off the entire car?!

because you're trying for better photography skills? I take both when I go. Basic shots to show off the cars that were there, and then I go around a second time and cut loose with the camera, take pics of whatever I want.

That's ok, I'll never understand the whole photography thing. My dad did it to pay his way through college, one of my older brother's and my sister are really into it so I hate seeing all those pictures whenever we go somewhere like the American Le Mans Series racing or the Chicago auto show for example.

sorry guys, i guess i'm just trying to do something different than that. when you're going to take the image it's way more fun to try to be creative and shoot just portions of the car and capture the highlights of the cars.
that and it's really hard to get them to look anything special when there's another car about a foot next to it and people standing everywhere.
but thanks for the comments!
