what ive been doing all day...
wow. such a big difference. in most of these shots, and just driving by or seeing it from afar (20 ft) you cant even tell. up close, sure, its spray can, but its awesome.
im impressed it looks better than i expected and definatly better than before, i dont know if i could ever pull my self to do that even if it did look bad but atleast it worked out well

First of all, it's not even about whether it's better, but just how much better is it. Dude......it's a night and day difference! Obviously on the shots with the flash is shows a little more of the spray, but on the ones with out it, I can totally see how driving down the road, or just being a little way from it would look great. It definitely looks real good in the pictures.
As far as the wet sand......if you use a real fine grit, like 2000, and make sure you use lots of water......as long as it's light, (pressure) and you don't get in a hurry, you shouldn't burn through the paint. Did you use any clear on it, or is it just paint? Actually it doesn't matter......the same would apply for both. And as already mentioned.....you can always fix it if you do go through.

well about fixing it...it was about a whole days worth of work with lots of waiting for dry. and masking and prep took about 2 hours too...so i wouldnt wanna do it again, i dont have time.
and its got one generous (not thick) layer of primer, two coats of black, then about 3 or 4 generous coats of clear.
i might try to sand it and buff it on maybe the bottom side part, where it wouldnt be too noticeable if i ****** up. what do i buff with? just a rag and some kinda compound?
