do you have an electric buffer? that would be best, but you can always do it by hand too, which might be better because of the curves and considered how weird of an area that is.

like said earlier a very light sandpaper will do, and yea a rag even like a t-shirt will do, just get some buffing compound. you can get smaller containers or like my dad has this big economy size deal.lol. local auto store should have some good stuff. drip it over an area on the bumper and even it all out and slowly just do an area at a time. moderate pressure but shouldnt have to use much force at all. im sure you will be fine Caleb. good luck

Hey Caleb, just make sure you don't use a rubbing compound on it, cause there's too much abbrasives in it, and all you really want to do is smooth the very top layer of what you put down. You should be fine with most any polish after you finish the wet-sand.

Remember to keep it nice and wet, and use nothing less than 1500 grit. Always sand back and forth or up and down.....never sand in circles. Make sure it's completely dry before you polish, and if you can afford it, get a tack cloth to wipe it down with after it's dry.

You can use a foam applicator pad for the polish and a 100% cotton t-shirt to take it off with or even those diaper stye rags they sell. I wouldn't worry about using the microfiber stuff with that. Then after you polish it out, put a good layer of wax on it, and you should be good to go.

looks pretty good for a rattle can job, i personally dont think sanding it will do much good because ur gonna need to use something like 2500-3000 grit and unless u have a DA then ur gonna doing a lot of sanding, u may get out some of the fish eyes and trash but if u have any runs ur arm is gonna be killing you. id maybe try to buff it and see what kinda results u have with that but i mean for a rattle can job it looks pretty good so i would just call the project a success and move on to something else. if u do decide to sand it try and find some wet/dry sand paper which u can find at Dupont or PPG or some place like that.

thats what im thinking. as i left home depot last night, having just wasted 4 bucks on some wet sandpaper (highest they had was 600 grit), i walked out to my car, and it looked great. it was around 7 so there was still plenty of light, and i thought, damn, it looks fine.
