it kinda does, but you get the point don't you?What I want to know is why are the fins at the opening?

I'm assuming to spool the turbos? I dont know too much about turbos/how they work/etc., I've seen a couple of drag cars with the turbo setting right inthe bumper, or right in the hood, with no piping before the inlet of the turbo. Correct me if i'm wrong, not 100% sure on that.

usually those are huge turbos, and huge engines, to put the turbos down there on anything else would hurt efficiency (the exhaust pipes would have to go to the bumper)I think it may just be to show what the idea for openings are(also since it's intercooled the piping from teh intercooler would go to the turbo inlet)
