Matt who are you having paint your car?
I'm getting my hood painted in the next couple weeks and was just wondering who was doing yours. I get mine done by a friend if you want I can see about what he'd charge you.

thanks for the compliments. i picked up some header bolts and O2 extensions from Speed INC. in the next few weeks sometime i think we are gonna start tearing it apart and taking everything out to do the headers, and im gonna put in new motor mounts too. then i need to get it tuned. if we paint it, then WE are going to paint it in our garage. its gonna take a while tho and a TON of work. and i need to save up money for the paint. thanks anyways Chad, but its gonna be a few hundred for the supplies and then the rest is just labor for me and my dad to actually paint it.

yes i know that, but im painting the entire car
man its gonna be a pain painting everything in the engine compartment...lol, damn. o well you gotta work for what you want.

haha. here's the deal. i KNOW i would love it yellow/black. however i really like the white now. i think with a white hood and just all clean it will look very sweet. but at the same time i know that i would not regret doing the yellow/black. i just dont know if its worth the time tho. im not sure if anyone here knows how much work it actually is. its just the prep work and detail work. actually spraying the car takes about 45 minutes or so but the amount of time its gonna take just to spray paint under the hood all black, the firewall, every tiny area of factory white in the engine compartment, masking off the t-top areas and doing those black, and hand sanding the door jams and all the areas that will need to be sanded but where you cant get a DA in. THATS what i keep thinking about.

see thats what i mean. Yellow would be badass and be pretty different however there are always people who say, "o i liked it white better", and i bet ill get a lot of that, but then again, the clean all white look, looks VERY nice also. thats why idk yet. im waiting to hear from the previous owner, i think im gonna base my final decision alot off what he thinks.
