2001 bmw 525i

can you guys tell me if htis is a good deal:

a 2001 bmw 525i with 60,000kms for 22,000 dollars (cad) , i am wondering do you think the person changed the odometer or something because 60k is low for a 2001 car, and also if it's a good and reliable car ( i am planning to use it for another 5-6 years at least) especially in canadian winter.

Thanks,

yes, that should be about right for that car.
I doubt they fiddled with the odomiter, it's not that low.
they are reliable cars, but like any other german car, you have to maintian it, make sure you do wheel bearings and oil/fluid changed, and it's the 525, so Im assuming your not going to drive it hard.

Is it that silver on black one, automatic that I saw on autotrader? If so it looks good.

Steve

I see you are in ottawa, and the car is in etobiko, if you want, I will go have a look at it for you, I live pretty close to it, and I LOVE test driving cars. I have found lots of cars for my friends and familly, and I maintain the cars for all of them, so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to used cars.

PM me if you want my help.

Steve.

Thanks,
I drive a 2001 540i. I can't say much about the price. But as far as reliability goes, it's not bad at all.

60,000km sounds a bit low. And I think it's due for the "inspection II" within few thousands km. And that inspection costs about 1000 dollars, you should consider that in your budget as well.
