people tell me to wire my sub from 4 ohms into 2 ohms to get more power. how do i do that?

2 ohms
you need a dual voice coil sub to make that change, so you need to know if you have a single voice coil sub, dual voice coil sub and the ohm rating of coil or coils to determine if you can rewire it
