If the guy has the money laying around to drop 4+g's on subs he probly also has the money to power them.

I dunno,

Maybe he won the subs at a raffle--a serious amp (s) must have been powering them if they cracked the window.

Very true.... but then we also look at the other end of the spectrum. Just because the sub is rated at a max of 10k (or whatever it is) ... doesn't mean he isn't putting more to it.

Subs can usually handle a hell of a lot more than their rated power for SPL burps.
