It's an undersized 6.5", if you buy a speaker with a big mount you have to go 5.25, if you don't want to modify it.

yeah, i was looking around and found out they were 6.5", but when i saw last time, it looked smaller then a 6.5.

so should i buy 5.25 or a 6.5 inch speakers?

Honestly... for this sort of thing it would be best to just go in to Selective Sound and let Davis show you what he has that will fit rather than buying something yourself and hoping it will go

Put the 6.5" in all it takes is a few tabs that have to be snapped and a spacer.

If you're going to tell him to just go ahead and do that... you may also want to check the mounting depth to make sure he isn't getting one too deep

That's what the spacer is for to gain some more mounting depth while maintain that stock look under the oem covers. Most quality speakers have a thick magnet so your most likely going to need the spacer that comes along with some brands. I know alpine provides them in some cases and you could always opt to go and search for shallow mount speakers such as infinity references 6.5".
