Okay, so my amp cuts out randomly, i thought it was the sub but
after some observations i found out that my amp is actually losing power at points, the power LED lights will go dim or it'll even go off.

Very randomly though, no relation to bump, shake, drop, wire wiggle,
output, input level, temperature, radio station, engine temperature,
brakes...

One thing is though, my RCA cables tend to wiggle a bit,
there are 2 parts where the RCA parts go in, the part around and the hole part,
and there are 2 of those, and the connection from the hole part to the board seems sturdy.

I don't know why it's doing this, it'll come back on randomly,
sometimes it helps if i wiggle RCA cables... help, any suggestion
is appreciated

hmm, try re-grounding the amp...sounds like it could be a grounding issue.

Make sure ground to chassis is clean n free of paint and such. also try a direct ground from the negative battery terminal...

other than that, I cannot really think of anything else...

could a non proper ground also result in the amp
not turning on at all??

DEFINATELY!

your amp will not work if it's not grounded properly.... grounding the amp is like the - terminal on a battery. so, when you have the + (red wire) from your battery to the amp, and you don't have the grounding wire connected, then your amp will not work..

Always remember, proper wiring is a must, or your risking a spark (which could result to a fire), fuses blowing, amp blowing, etc.... so, make sure that the - ground wire is somewhere with no paint, no rust, etc... just to the body of the car itself.

as for the ground it could be loose, dirty connection.. make sure your remote wire is connected properly. also make sure your amp is not overheating
does your amp fully turn off or go into safe mode if there is one?

I had the same problem, but it would only cut off @ high volumes. I bought an amp with a 30 amp fuse and now i can turn it up no problem.
My old amp was 60A
In other words it may be to powerful for ur vehicle to handle.

check your ground it sound s like thats your problem if thats good then i would try investing in a stiffening cap it helps out with the power your amp needs and also pulls the stress off of your alternator

I had the same exact problem. My installer said it could be the fuse (near the car battery). The contacts of the old fuse weren't that good anymore. I cleaned the fuse holder and put in a new fuse.

Problem solved!

Check the ground connection - make sure that it is tight against bare metal.

Also - it sounds like the amp could be over-heating and the safety is shutting it off.
What amp and sub are you running? Class AB? Class D? could be the amp isn't strong enough for your sub. Try turning down all the gains, etc on the amp and run it for a day - and see if it still shuts off.
