Amplifier connection problem..

Hi everyone,

I just want to wondering if I extend the factory harness wire and connect to the Amplifier without connect to the deck. Then use the RCA cable connect it from amplifier back to the deck. Will it be ok? Or I must put in a new set of speaker cable from the speaker to amplifier?

Thank you!

If you're already extending the wires from the factory back to the amp, why not just run new wires? .....

It's pretty ghetto to do it the way you suggested.... but I guess it would work.

Its probably best just to use new wire...The factory WILL work, but as ^^ said, might as well

Thank you for you guys reply! The reason is I am too lazy to uninstall all the door panel and put in the all new wire for the speaker. Also, I don't want to make a whole on the factory harness at the door which connect to the speaker.

Also, I had a question. If the internal amplifier of CD deck was dead, can I just connect external amplifier and make it work again?

Thank you!
