Apine Type E OR Rockford P2s?

Hey everyone. just got a couple questions...first, The box I have now is a dual 12" ported bassworx enclosure. (2.8 Cu. ft) I think P2s are best with the enclosure that I have but which one do you guys think would be better?

Alpine Type E? or Rockford P2s? alpine is 250RMS and P2s are 200RMS.

I heard the P2s and they seem to hit hard but I never heard the Type E's yet.

secondly, amp is going to be running at 2 ohms and Im planning to get the MRP-M650 (600 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms) Will this be too much for the type e's or P2s to handle? how do you know when enough is enough?

thanks

I have a pair of 12 " p2's used them last summer... They sounded nice... Alot of subs sound better when the box is custom made with the proper air volume ratio. So if you're going to buy an expensive premium brand sub. might as well get the real sound it was made to give.. The specs on the p2's say that they're made to perform best in small sealed enclosures.

My subs are still mint. I'm upgradin to p3's so Make an offer on my subs if ur interested.
