Basically yeah, I was either going to run two 12's in trunk or two 15's where the rear seat was. I chose to go with the rear seat delete for several reasons. If the Soundstream amp can truly put out it's specs then it's all good, if not I will have to fork over another $450 for a second amp. Now if we add that up I'm starting to spend a lot of money on this system so I need to protect it. Keeping the amps in the trunk is the best place for them. Unless you have the remote their is no way your getting in that trunk without making a lot of noise. Two 15's in a wooden box is a heavy setup and much harder to steal then a pair of amps. One question I have been asked by a few people is why in a Camaro? Adding the subs and the box will put me around stock weight. My car has never been designed to be a race car more like a street car. And the one rules with building a street car is that you must have a little bit of every thing. This will cover my sound system and I can finally check that off my list. Of course I can always buy some TA door panels and buy some components but that has more to do with the interior.
