You can the Viper 5900 for the same price and it is a way better alarm than the Compustar.

I have a Compustar as well, its okay but I prefered the Ungo (clarion) alarm that i had in my previous car it was waaaayyyyy better.

My friends swear by viper and with the 2 way pager system.

I might upgrade mine to a viper with 2 way.

Remember though, even the best can still be taken.

Alarms are more of a deterant. If somene really wants your car then they will get it.

viper is the biggest and best mobile alarm company in the world. they have over 52 patents on their products....not 2 say compustar is much behind...but they are more money for the same product and so on and so forth. both are top leading mobile alarm systems. either way when yur in a building it gets cut down DRASTICLY. lol i have a more high end compustar..works a full mile nad i was in a local radio shack and trying 2 start my car and it didn't work and i was literally 50 feet away. lmfao..when they say 1 mile...thats an open feild with no builing interference.
