best sub for my amp ?

i was just wondering what the best sub i shuld get for my amp. and also wondering if it will sound beter if i get 2 "12s or just 1.
the make of the amp is Power Acoustic AV2-1600 Gothic Series 1600 Watt.
here are the specs:
Amplifier Type: 2-channel
RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 310W x 2
THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: 0.02%
Bridged RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 740W x 1
Speaker Level Inputs: yes
Preamp Outputs: yes
Built-In Crossovers: HP/LP
Bass Boost: 18 dB
Frequency Response: 10-30,000 Hz
Signal to Noise Ratio: 97 dB

i was wondering if it will sound beter with 1 12" bridged, and this setup is for a 98 prelude.

thanks alot guys !

considering the limited room in a prelude... I'd go with a single sub

One 12 in a ported box. It will sound nice but you may have to Dynamat the trunk

for sure one 12 inch (either dual 2-ohm or single 4-ohm voice coil) in that power range + a ported box should seal the deal ...good luck

Go with the single sub. Bridge mono your amp. Rock your sox off in a Prelude. RE makes great subs but pricey, a great sub for the buck is MMats audio. Kinda hard to find a retailer, but they just work so amazing.
