cts single din deck

so im about to buy a 03 or 04 cts...just waiting on the prices from the dealership my dad works at... and i want to put my system in it, it comes with a factory sub but i want my deck and subs in it...i have a pritty deacent system and dont want to sell it (mtx 8001 amp and 2-12 mtx subs with a 1 fared cap)
ive been looking for 2 days and i cant find a single picture on how it will look if i put in a single din deck, i dont want to do it if it will looks cheesy... was even considering making the aftermarket deck in the arm rest if possible...i want this car to look classy and really clean, it is a caddy after all ...LOL
so does anyone have a cts with a deck in it or have a pic of one? ive found pics of the dash kit but not installed...please help

Hello
Just by looking at the CTS interior pictures, i can see your problem, As the stock system is pretty big, and you want to put in a Single din deck in

This site {{http://www.mobilevideoauthority.com/page/page/4777669.htm**** sells the kits, but im still looking for an install, seems like they all go for the double din stereos. I think if you were going to replace the stock system, you might as well go double din.

Another option is to look into sub intalations for the OEM stereo itself, As you said it has a facotry sub, what if you just replace that with your subs and amp?

Hope this helped, and ill keep looking for an install picture,

link no workie...lol...
i was just at a car audio shop and they said they have a rca adaptor that has a gain on it so you can controle the amount of bass going to the subs... my amp does have its on external remote gain controle, i useto use it on my old truck i had the factory deck in, it worked good i guess, i just really like my deck has a bunch of features but i guess it will be a last resort if i dont like the look of it....also ill have to either buy ll new speakers for the car or buy a bose modual to have a aftermarket deck work with the factory speakers...stupid new cars makeing all this more expencive and more of a headache...
gonna do a deck in a 62 bel air next week... power , ground, positive and negative to each speaker...DONE..simple as pie.
