Two days ago my battery died on me. After getting a jump the car was fine but my cd player is not. it says (error) when i turn it on and I cant change the clocks time.I read the manual and in it, it says I must take this particular cd changer (audio system with in dash cd changer only in special edition models) to the dealer if something is wrong?I was wondering if any of you smart cookies out there have had this problem and would know how to fix it without me taking it to the dealer.

I have this same vehicle and if anything went wrong with it, I'd want to take it to a dealer....it's my baby! Even if you could tinker with it McGuyver-style, could be covered by warranty or else you may make it worse!
