help with decisions on setup/layout

well ive been starting to put together a plan to redo the whole system in my car however ive been trying to be cheap about it and i figured im not gonna do it a ****** way, id rather do it right so i might just hold off on certain things that i dont exactly need (new mono amp for example). well anyways... im doing a project in CAD class and basically im building a custom box/amp rack to go where the backseats are. one 12 will be on each side where someones butt would be basically and a single board would sit flush across the top(where the subs would be mounted) and it would go over the driveshaft tunnel and each sub box would be build underneath it. well i started thinkign and idk if i wanna do this cause i want something that is easily removable if i wanna go race or just take it out for anything and this obviously wont be easy to remove. so ive been considering keepign the box i have now and the mono amp, and only getting a new 2 channel for my front components, and mount that on the box and also getting a new head unit and sound deadning. this will be much cheaper than what i was planning with the setup in the backseat and also doing a new mono amp and speakers all around and lot of other stuff, but i was looking for some oppinions. im not gonna go with a sub thump box cause they are retardedly expensive, but i will consider making one like that. just trying to see what you guys think here. im sure youve all seen my newer sub/amp and box setup.

any oppinions...

I would do a good 4 channel amp (not much more thana 2 channel, and alot more possibilities for upgrades in the future) build a box you have the design stuff, if you need sizes send me the spechs on your sub and I'll get you a box volume you need. Sound deadening will make a world of difference it will make you think you got a new amp

im leaning towards the 2 channel cause i dont wanna amp my MB Quart Coaxials, but idk yet... also im fine with the sub box, i just cant decide how i want it to be set up. my subs are at like half power but its fine with me cause they pound decently for my liking and a new mono is like 200+ bucks. the 2 chaanel is 40 bucks cheaper than the 4 channel, and the HU with 3 RCA outputs is like, i forgot at least another 40 over the 2RCA HU, thats why im leaning towards 2 channel Phoenix Gold instead of 4.

go with the better head or when you do amp those other speakers (before they blow from distortion at too low a wattage) you'll have to change heads again. What amp you looking at I can get some of the PG stuff

would u be able to get me a better deal on that 4 channel Arch?
my friend advised me not to amp the rears simply because i didnt need to, whats your oppinion on this? also will i be fine running a set of alpine Xovers on my Orion components? i havent checked if they have any, although they should but i havent really looked yet, everything is running off my monsoon amp/deck except the subs are on my mono bazooka.

head unit amps are garbage, amp every speaker or no speakers. I can't beat tehir price on teh amp as they are below cost (not sure how they are since we use the same supplier) the hu I have listed at teh same price, and of course you get a discount. A crossover is a crossover pretty much (especially alpine and orion both are good companies)

alright sweet. my friend has some alpine x-overs in case i dont have any for my Orions, like i said i havent checked yet, but im gonna go with that 4 channel PG and the Kenwood Excelon HU. ive been pretty suprised with their prices, they also include a full vehicle specific mounting/install kit.

only other thing i need is the sound deadening. im leaning towards eDead v2 from Elemental Designs. any other advice on some good sound deadening or know of any cheap stuff? the eDead is about $1.60 a sq ft.

look at the scoshe line, dynamat is overpriced (I make about 2 bucks on it and it's still expensive) I like the spray on for the side panels since there are a ton of nooks and crannies to get into
