Question How do you bridge a mono channel amp?

I have been noticing some sellers on ebay and other sites on the net are listing their mono sub amps as being able to bridge. For example the power specs might say 4 ohms 400W x 1, 2 ohms 600W x 1, and brigded 4 ohms 1000W x 1. I always thought to bridge an amp you needed at least two channels.

many of the cheap mono amps have dual speaker outputs since they are built on the stereo amp chassis, and some higher end ones can be daisy chained
