hey guys just wondering if these are legal or not, Ive had some people tell me that they were as long as their not blue but than some people say that you can get a ticket for them. just wondering because I have 4 green lights in my car. I do drive with them on in the city but do not out in the country. Thanks a lot

Interior neons to my knowledge arent legal... I have red ones inside my ride, and cops don't say when they pull me over.


I have red neons on the outside too, and I've gotten pulled over twice on the same day and given 2 warnings for having a Red Light - Front of the Vehicle.

The cop told me if I got rid of the front one than its ok. (the side neons have to be orange, but he said they wont bother you much for that) So I have a separate switch that will activate the front neon only now.

To my knowledge you can't drive with the outside ones...y wud u anyways, but in the parking lots you its legal,,,interior lights i think are safe because it doesn't distract anyone from other cars.

They are legal if you can't see them from the front of the car (e.g. if they are on your dash = illegal, but in the footwells = legal). Law states something about only white or amber lights at front of car.

the law has it that while a car is in motion the neons cannot be seen or activated on the exterior of your vehicle ... if the neons are hidden within the vehicle such as feet barring or under the dash & not in plain sight of the window or on the dashboard in & around the windows air vents then it is fine to have interior neons ... any colour u decide or wish ... but either way ... IMO... interior ligts areuseless unless your planning on entertaining a dumbass blonde chick who thinks lights are super sexxy & you think u can get her laid quicker cuz she is so retarded ... if that is the case on why your getting it then good score man !ahahah

but yea ... interior is not illegal ... neither is exterior..howevere, with the exterior you just cannot drive with them on as it causes a distraction!
