today I installed my amp and sub and it was sounding awesome. Than I close the passenger door kinda hard and the dash speakers cut off. All that i could hear was bass meaning the amp was still hooked up. What could have gone wrong?

should i check the head unit where the wires plug in or the actual speaker?

start the easy place you last touched, you may also havea bare wire that shorted out

that means it shorted somewhere

yeah i checked into it and it was 2 wires touching for one of my back speakers that isn't installed. At least I think that was the problem so i just put electrical tape over them
