i looked at the alpine 9855 model etc...don't kno what to get...

any recommendations ppl?

Look at pioneer's lineup also you cant go wrong with either just preference

if u decide on pioneer make sure u look at their Premier series... its the only pioneer stuff worth buying IMO.

I have a Panasonic flip screen and its a nice deck lots of features. They can be had for pretty cheap too. ive always liked panasonic or clarion for there decks good quality stuff

I prefer alipines products, they are simple but still reatain good features and to the point but also very slick! They are not too flashy like many decks on the market these days.

I feel the reverse is right, my Premier 840MP was in for repairs every 2 months, while the Sony 8815X i have is better in terms of realiability and flexibility and believe it or not sound. I would never have thought the sony would have been better, but sometimes things just go that way,

i had a mp 6800 from pioneer
and believe me its untouchable good sq more features then u would need
and all kind of adjustments u will need to fine tune a system

I think the Kenwood decks look good, plus most of them have USB ports. I will be getting a double-Din Kenwood with a built in USB port for memory sticks in a couple weeks.
