I like how its power but I dont like how its like the same height as stock.. I dunno why though.. And you should hook it up to the power so when you turn your car on or something it goes up..

you can set it up to only go up when the radio is on... the signal from your cd player / headunit should only be trying to get a signal from the antenna when the radio is on, so set it up so that when the radio requests the antenna's signal, it shoots it up...

lmao I'm no genius, I just know it can be done.

I'm guessing once you find the wire, it'd be a matter of using a relay to send the power signal to the antenna, but again I'm not sure HOW I just know it's been done.

no its actually really simple. i can just wire it to the power wire for the radio, but that wires actually on all the time...theres most likely a wire...

some radios have a soecial antennae wire, some it's just a remote turn on lead, using the zip ties is an approved gm mounting method (ever pull a power antennae from a c4 vette?)

Did you end up connecting it to the radio wire? Or are you keeping it on the switch?

well i've been sick the past few days and havent seen my car since i installed it. i think ima keep it on the switch, cuz if i have it hooked to the radio it goes up even when theres a cd, which i dont want.
