Type rs 4 sure yo i got p3s and a pair of 1242 12 inch type rs with a pdx.1.1000 and trust me they make the p3s look dumm with a proper set up ur good i got a spl 5 farad wiring kit a bassworx ported box a styinger 0 guage wiring kit and 4 broken windows lol

i have no experience with the alpines but the p3's are hardcore, i have a few buddys with them in their trunks and they are very nice for the money, i am definitly getting those in my ride.

My buddy had the type r and it hammers... iam getting type r's next time around

I agree about the RE statement, definitely better than the choices give you should really look into them, im looking to get a 15 xxx as my next sub

i personally own 1 12'' alpine type r sub hooked up to a 1200 watt rms amp and the sub is loving it. ive heard p3's dont get me wrong they sound good but i prefer the alpine. its a shame that i have to get rid of my sub cuz i need the money. so if your looking for a type r sub message me.

just skip the type r's and go straight to the type x's!!!

There are a LOT better subs out there than Type R's... they just aren't as well known.
