radio cuts out when headlights are on
 

any ideas???

once the lights are off the radio comes back on

What kind of car? Not 100% sure what the prob is but the only thing i can think of is that you grounded the deck to the illumination wire of the car. Check the wiring make sure the radio is grounded to a ground wire not the illumination wire, your best bet is to use a meter to check everything. PM me if that doesnt work.

previous owner cut the harness off, then re-attached them by twisting the wires and some masking tape (i know, i know)

ALL the wires were accounted for (matched colors)

still cuts out...

change the relays

this used to happend to my civic.. check my fuses and wires, everything was good... then all of a sudden.. the deck came on.. no idea what caused this.. good luck man :smokin:
