Recommended Car Audio Shops
 

Does anyone know any good car audio shops around the GTA that provide:

1) Quality installations
2) Reasonable prices (on goods and labour)
3) Large product selections

He theres a really good plave up here in Markham/ I beleive it Markha Audio or sumtin not too sure of the name. They have the best speakers subs and everything u can ask for. prvtly owned. Cheap. Reliable. They do custom intsalls as well. Its located on HWY 7 and Unionvill Main St. just West of Kennedy. Ull see it usually alot of suvs n modified cars are parked near it. If you are coming from the East its gonna be on ur right side. And if your from the west its on your left side. Hope i helped.

It's called Auto Sound Design and the owners are dumbasses. His prices are also not that great. I go to KHF (aka Kennedy Hi-Fi & Kensai Racing) at 108 Nantucket Blvd. You can cut a deal with Alan.

Ask for Jeff and Sos...lets just say they are really good priced install and product...they are great guys and good reputable company....no complaints ever!!

my place call audio heaven, i go there and only there. they did my deck wiring. tinting, compustar security system and just picked up a cap from them yesterday.

i second on lockdown enterprises... they do great work and have a good selection an dgreat rate...have had all my stereo's and alarms installed there...i am pretty sure the guys name is jeff.

Audio Vision Plus at Keele/Steeles

I would suggest Altered Sound in Oakville. They also do the high end car audio stuff, like Audison amps, Focal subs & speakers, MTX, CLARION. And they do alot of custom work, also do ignition stuff. Really nice people.

Sidds car audio is pretty good too really koool guys to hang out with while they do the install no so good for what they have in their stock but its been a while since i've been there so it might of changed because they had just moved in when i was there... btw its at dufferin and steeles.

Personally, ive spoken to a guy from concepts on wheels, sherman was his name and he was very professional and i know one of my buddies speaks highly of the shop.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, hopefully they back it with a reason.... :veryhappy

Ive heard some of Phantom Car Audios work, amazing. There arent many great car audio shops left.... imma check out COW soon. :veryhappy

When I lived in Tornoto, I went to Audio to Go on Dundas, in Mississauga great prices you could really hagle with them but when it came to install, it was a complete hack job.

Chico`s Stereo N Sound in Buffalo is great!

the shops a complete disaster. most car audio installed there is all hacked up, cut corners,big rip off place and service is poor. :smilie_d0

I'm gonna have to recommend doing it yourself now... I've seen people from my college get some installs from shops I won't name and the wires where just taped together.... like really badly!

no i just tried to comment on mrmustangs reply,that phantom is a poor shop.

Personally I think Phantom is a good shop, just really busy so its hard for Dan to keep the place organized. But he takes care of the cars that come in there and makes sure they leave sounding and looking good. He does sell Kenwood but he also sells a few other brands . His favorite brand to sell would probably be Kicker. He sells a lot of Kicker stuff.
