Sirius Satellite.

Does anyone here have Sirius? I'm thinking about getting it for my car, van, and work truck. Someone said you can get a portable unit, so the sat peice can be moved from stereo to stereo. Let me know how you like it, cost etc.

Looks like if I want it in my work truck, which I don't own and am not spending money on I'm screwed. But I can get it in my car and house. Know if there is a portable yet?

Yeah I think that's what I was looking for. I couldn't see if that can be hooked up to any stereo, But the one in my car now has an Aux in on the front, so it will work on that one.

Last I've read (from the actualy Sat radio providers)... you can't get Sat. Radio here... The Canadian Gov't hasn't approved it for use here...

But if I "acquire" the parts, will it work? In theory all I'd have to do is have a mailing adress in the states to send the bill to.

Excellent. Thanks. Gotta hear that first Howard Stern broadcast. Don't know how good it's gonna be, but I want to hear him say " the FCC".

You can buy a portable unit from the states anywhere. Not to long ago Circuit City was selling two for $100. These units are portable and take a few seconds to setup, all you need is any radio in your truck so you can tune into a station.

You mean the Source in Canada? Or Circuit City on the states?
