means that's good, so the line is dead between the fuse and radio, did you check both sides of the fuse (with teh fuse in of course just use the little metal tabs on the top of the fuse)

To be sure also... Red is the constant power line, and yellow is ignition right? he said he wasnt sure before, Im just wondering if thats right, and which ones Im testing.

use the red on the body of the car, when you look at the fuse where the size is there are 2 little metal tab looking things, put the red wire on each of them to make sur ethe fuse is good, then go down the line towards the radio (if that checks good) until you find the no power

black goes to the body of the car as a ground then use the red to check for power on both metel parts of the fuse if there is power follow the wire that goes to your radio untill it has no power anymore buy checking it at random parts between the fuse and the radio when you get to a point and it has no power splice a wire from where it was last reading power to the spot where it doesnt have power and it would fix your problem or you could run a new wire from the fuse to the stereo eather way if thats your problem then those would fix it

Thanks for clearing that up for me... Im prettymuch a total dumb *** since this is like the second time using a multimeter in my life, the last time was like 3 years ago... Theres just like 500 settings, and I only know a few.. Im using volts, dont worry lol.
How do I check for power in the head unit? Woudlnt it be dead since I dont have it plugged in? I checked the power on the plug that plugs into the head unit, but not the head unit it itself.. Can I do that? TIA

check and see if you can see what color wire leads away from the fuse. then see if that one gets power in the plug that goes into the radio with the key on. if it dont then you have to check it at differnt places along the wire tell you run into the spot where it doesnt get power any more

OKay.. I checked the fuse today, and it had power on both sides. Ill try to see which wire it is... Does the fuse box come out or anything? Also, I noticed that there is a fuse at the top called radio accessory, and I pulled it out, theres only one metal plug on the left side in it?? Is that right, or is this just a spare or somthing?

Well an update on this:
Last week my friend and I tested everything, and everything had power up to the head... No brainer, I bought a new head unit this weekend, and got it in last night. I love it

Now I have a craving to buy some new speakers, then my amp(s), then build my box, then subs..
