What are some good speakers to replace the stock location ones?

I'm going to be doing a fresh speaker swap sometime within 2-6 months, and would like to know what speakers are good out there, that will give me great performance, yet will fit the stock location.

anything but sony, audiobahn and kicker (kicker is a marketing company only never made a single product) really the only speaker manufacturers in the us are rf, and dd the rest buy from them or one of the 5 other manufacturers in the world
