sub and amp question
to run 2 12" subs would you need a 2 channel amp? idk much about this type of stuff so ne help is greatly appreciated. just a basic understanding is what i dont have.lol. thanks

so basically a 2 channel amp would have each sub on its own channel, but bridging it would put them both on the same channel, and imitating a single channel mono sub amp. so thats why i say the best way is a mono amp. also mono amps have low pass filters and lower frequencies to better suit subs.

all depends on what you want, my sub is on a 5 channel amp with all kinds of filters, but it won't have the spl of a mono block amp (i wanted easy in this setup) a 2 channel amp will be easier on teh electrical system (you would run at a 2 ohm load more than likely on a monoblock that already drinks power)
