i just bought the ultimate dvd35, dvd player from futureshop and i was wondering if anyone knows how to bypass the brake wire, i had a panasonic flip screen that i just grounded the emergency brake wire but this deck the wire goes to the brake as far as i know. in the manual it says(PINK/BRAKE(active low input)) so i'm confused as to whether i should ground it or +12...
anyone know for this headunit specifically???

so if i'm not mistaking..you wanna be able to play dvds
while you car is out of park?
you could buy a PAC adapter for it

but why? why would you wanna do such a thing?

i want to have the movies playing on trips, also i want install a rear monitor and have it play while i drive. whats a PAC Adapter?

well its a company that makes a little box so u can bypass for cars with
amplified stock systems or if you wanna keep your original deck....they also make
this device called the TRC27 correct me if i'm wrong but it allows you to be able
to watch dvds as car is motion

and wouldn't a monitor be able to function off the brain of the unit?

Go To EHR They carry the PAC, but mind you it is illegal, and if you get into a car accident, you go to jail for attemped murder, whether or not its on or off.

So if u just ground that wire. how can they prove attempted murder? Do the cops have install guys that can tell if ur TV deck is grounded instead of non-grounded?
