Question Is this upgrade worth it?

I can get my hands on a set of 12inch Alpine Type R's for a decent price. I was wonderiing would this upgrade be worth it? Right now I'm running two JLAudio 10W0's so would this upgrade be worth it? I know the 12's would be louder but it is worth having to upgrade my power supply and build a box? How much of a gain would I expect to see from the 12's?

the 12's will play a little lower than the 10's., but alot also depends on teh box,10's are good for high bass, but 12's are a better overall choice

Thanks, it was a toss up between the two 12inch Type R's or a single 12 inch Type X.

I have 2 Type R 12 inch. What Ohm are you looking at? I bet I could get you an even better deal. I have 2 Type R Dual 4 Ohm sitting in my room. In the box and everything. MINT CONDITION. They are taking up space. Pay shipping and like $40 and they are yours. Only reason I didn't use them is I had the dual 4's and realized my amp wouldn't run a 1 Ohm load, so I had to buy two dual 2's so I could run a 2 Ohm load.
