What is the best amp to go with these subs?

Alpine Type-S (300W RMS)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ALPINE-Type-S-Su...QQcmdZViewItemhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ALPINE-Type-S-Su...QQcmdZViewItem

Alpine Type-R (500W RMS)
http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-2005-A...QQcmdZViewItem

I know that the Type-R require a more powerful amp then the Type-S and are also more expensive. I have not decided which one to get yet.

Thanks. Please give any suggestions for amps for either sub

try this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Sound...0954QQtcZphoto
or if you want a little less (look at bridged numbers)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Sound...0943QQtcZphoto
I just shipped a pair of those to a guy real nice amp very similar to the old soundstream stuff (used to be a step above alpine, and rockford, now is on the same level) don't forget to look here for subs
http://stores.ebay.com/Clarity-Audio...QQftidZ2QQtZkm (keep in mind a 10% discount as long as you don't use ebay)

2Poor4Z is an unknown quantity at this point
the biggest thing to look at as far as picking a sub is what kind of sound your looking for

both great subs but

the type-s will give you less loudness in your bass while the type-r will give slightly less quality but more loudness and a slightly deeper sounding sub to me than the type-s

as far as amps go
1. buy it from archamedes
2. rememeber when looking at amps all you care about is the RMS numbers. Maximum output numbers are merely a sales tactic for selling amps to idiots. the RMS will give you your true everyday use of output. match the sub rms to the amp RMS output. then you will probably just run your amp at about 80% gain for everyday use and gain optimal everyday performance out of your system.

also while getting slightly technical you need to look at the OHM loads on the subwoofers and what they can handle and compare those to the output of the amplifier

your best bet for a subwoofer amplifier is a mono block or single channel amp. these are typically more expensive than say a 2 channel. a bridgable 2 channel will do just fine.do make sure to look at the bridged RMS wattage output and the bridged OHM loads.

I have this amplifier already, but I am having a hard time trying to find a 10" sub to go with it:

Alpine MRV-T320 Amplifier

Any suggestions would be cool.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DB-DR...9186QQtcZphoto (another that would work well)
or http://cgi.ebay.com/POWERBASS-PB104DV2-10IN-sub-Dual-voice-coil-NEW_W0QQitemZ5783834229QQcategoryZ3291QQtcZphotoQQ cmdZViewItem(a dual voice coil version of the other that would be a perfect match as far as power)

That amp would work good on a JL Audio 12 or 15W3V2.
