Orion h2 subs are what u need lol. near perfect sq sub at medium volume and pure spl when cranked and you can get them cheap on ebay. Unless you have enough for a W7 these are a good alternative BUT if you can get an ID Max then go for it instead :smilie_da

if you gonna get one of those models you gonna need 2 subs to handle the power, just incase u dont know.

i'd go with Alpine Type R. or Kicker L7

All depending on your budget, I would go to your local car audio shop and see what they have to offer. In the long run it will be the best for you. If anything goes wrong they will more likely take care of you when you are in need. Try to get something that has a warranty if you want some piece of mind. Hope that helps.

another suggestion, alpine type X, my buddy hits 163 in his civic sedan on a mrd 1000

All im saying is that i would go with 2 tens instead of one 12 the sound is so much better and the setup is sometimes cheaper i have 2x10 infinity’s in my civic and they shake and rattle everything in the car and the body

some of the older rockford subs were sick... Rockford HX2's and Power HX2's are a good choice... but tough to find.

Cmac 03-08-2007 10:06 PM

i was able to pick up two of the HX2 12's and a bd 500

No... no he doesn't... not even close... no chance in hell. Sorry but you obviously have no idea what it takes to hit a true 163 db's. :nono:

143's would probably be more like it.
