Ive got a sony 4-ch running my front JBL 6 1/2 and rear JBL 6x9 (gto series)......then i got a pioneer deck with a highpass and lowpass filter...multiple aux in's hooked up including satellite radio n mp3 player......

then i got an alpine type s sub hooked up to my pioneer amp ...(dual 2ohm voice coil --> amp pushes 190x2 watts RMS at 2ohm)....

and some crappy tweeters hooked up to my deck...not so bad since all this was bought with income while workin at a grocery storee :smokin:

Ok here's what I got right now...

-2 panasonic 6.5" speakers (in the doors)
-2 panasonic 6x9 (in the rear deck)
-2 12" Kicker CompVR's DVC subs (rated 400 rms watts each)
- Kenwood 1000Watt Mono amp. (old school)
- Tsunami 2 Farad Cap
- Nice viper alarm


My car is gonna be parked for winter, so I'm gonna change around some of the audio, and throw in some video as well

heres some new things my setup is gonna include by end of christmas ...


-PANASONIC CQ-VD7003U DVD/In-dash screen 7"
- Alpine 6.5's in the front
- Alpine 6x9's in the back
- Earthquake Phd-2 amp for the subwoofer (when it gets fixed)
- A nice alpine 4 ch. amp to power the front and back speakers
- Dynamat Xtreme trunk kit
- Another 2 Farad Capacitor

I'm not sure about what subwoofers I'm gonna get... I might just take out the subwoofer box (because it alotta weight). Anyways tell me what you guys think of the setup

Well, i got my system going into Selective Sound. Davis hooked me up on some amazing pricing for US Amps, Eclipse and RE. I'll also be running some beautiful DD equipment that i got from 2loud4you :)

All i can say is look out :thumbsup:

The guys there should be getting to work soon on my machine. I dont want to give too much away as i will let the pics speak for themselves as they start coming in.... but im soooo eager to get it done :smile:

pioneer premiere deck (not the ghetto version u get from bestbuy/futureshop)
2 7 inch monitors builit into the headrest
clarion dvd unit where the cupholders/ashtray use 2 be
this thing really pounds hard in the integra only problem is just need another amp to power my inside speakers

These were in my last cars, but nothing too fancy in the stang right now til summer. First is the Harley truck with a Memphis LVS 18" triple stacked off a 1100D With a Kenwood Excelon deck and Memphis 5x7's off the deck, then 2001 Prelude with 1-12" Memphis M3 and 2 sets of Mclass components running off a Memphis BIG Belle 5 channel amp with Jvc headunit and Memphis 4band parametric EQ.

The body on my car rattles and shakes when i turn is up and sometimes it seems that my trunk is louder then the speakers inside the car...

Well listen it's my winter beater and unfortunately i'm driving it in the summer.
Here is what I have in it.

Alpine CDM-7835 old school yet brand new just took it out of the box last week. (for sale if anyone is interested).
ESX 60.4 4 channel amp runs all interiors and 4 kicker old school subs on the back deck.
That is it. no processors just a deck an amp and some speakers.
It does pretty good, nothing earth shattering yet people are surprised at the volume and clarity of the system.
No noise or pops or anything.

my setup, alpine CDA 9856 head unit, alpine mrv-f450 alpine type S components, 12" pioneer sub on a poneer 760watt amp, its not super loud but t works

HU is a Kenwood KDC-7009 phantom face (found one new in box)
Amp is an Huge ESX 120.4
Zapco I-12 sub in a sealed box.
Interior speakers are stock (please don't laugh) they do pretty good.

btw i have a simple cda 9811

12" type s (ported box) and a mvr 605 amp

my next upgrades will be new 6x8s (the stockers can't handle it )
and upgrade the electricals (new batt,wiring,cap)

I'm going to put some big amps in and see how my set up responds.

I had 4 R/F 12's in my Cutlass and I hit 132, two separate sealed boxes. The subs were the Punch series, needless to say, they didn't last too long after that!

Old set up .. 2 12" alpine type r's with alpine r ported sub box.. off of a 1000 watt alpine mrd m1001 digital amp..also had a real good cap and component set.. i hit 154 db in my civic hatch..

new set up..--> NOTHING!! rockin 11.3 in the qt mile
