Just a suggestion, do a search for an aftermarket alternator. Sometimes re-wiring alts. doesnt always mean better. From the factory, cheap diodes and components are used within the alternator because of price, and they will work fine with a factory set-up and leave you 20-30 amps for aftermarket stuff. An aftermarket alt. from manufacturers like Stinger cost only a fraction more, but all internal parts such as regulator, base wiring, diodes, rectifiers etc. are higher quality and can sustain much more abuse and deliver more current to your system. Most Acuras and Hondas alts. will be avaliable from Stinger. If you do choose to get re-wired, make sure to ask for replaced internals as well as the wiring, the diodes etc. are not expensive, but make a big difference to an old alt. Try a Google search for an auto electric shop in your area.

You could go to Ararat Auto Electric Products in Scarborough. They are on Midwest. I can't remember the exact address but I'm pretty sure you could look it up.
