while driving my 93 honda del sol my radio suddenly shut off and my lights...

...dimmed and lost all power. why? while driving my car my radio suddenly shut off and lights dimmed...and lost all power in car until car shut off...while trying to restart it it just clicked..whats the matter with my car?

probably the alternator. did the battery light come on just befoe that happened?

I would have to agree with Katie, have your alternator checked. You might also check the battery while you are at it, especially the water in the battery.

Could be your alternator, short in your wires, go auto zone, advance auto and they can check that for you for free.
