FS: Custom JL Audio Enclosure with TWO 10" JL Audio W6 Subwoofers for $500 *OBO*!
This is a custom one-of-a-kind professionally built enclosure. It is 3/4" MDF enclosure. The rack and top are carpeted with MDF and the silver front is carpeted with thernofoiled MDF. The front has two plexiglass viewing windows. The subwoofers are a pair of JL Audio 10" 10W6s (Version Ones) and they are mounted to be downfiring. This configuration is ideal for those who actually put things into their trunk, because it is one of the highest performing enclosures and yet it is so small and light that it gives you enough space to put your other loads in the trunk as well.
These subwoofers were top-of-the-line when they were purchased about a year ago. The box was obtained from an engineer at JL Audio USA. It is really a one-of-a-kind demonstration model. According to JL Audio USA, the enclosure was never mass produced and marketed, because it would have been too expensive to mass produce it with all of the high-quality MDF, thernofoiled MDF, and plexiglass that was utilized in its structure.
To be honest with all my potential customers, these subwoofers have been used for approximately six months now. They have been stored in a closet since they were taken out of my 1996 Honda Civic CX Hatchback. The enclosure that these subwoofers are wired in is family-friendly to say the least, but it was also engineered with curvy sides to fit a Honda Civic Hatchback. As for the subwoofers, they are the younger brothers of the now-legendary JL Audio W7 subwoofers. You do not need to know much about subwoofers to know that JL Audio is the ABSOLUTE BEST brand for subwoofers. It is just the stat quo that they are made from the best magnets in the world and they are ALWAYS underrated (and the W6 is actually one of the main subwoofers that contributed to this notorious reputation of JL Audio). Although these subwoofers might be rated at 300W RMS and 1000W peak each, they have practically been known to run at 600W RMS and 1400W peak each without a SINGLE HITCH. If you do not believe ME, then you will definitely believe the thousands of extremely happy user reviewers and professional reviewers on AudioReview.com, Epinions.com, and any other product review website that has reviewed the JL Audio W6 subwoofers.
Now, that brings me to my conclusion. Why pay retail for this custom enclosure with two of the best subwoofers ever made, when I am practically giving this stuff away? This is just a part of my parted-out 138dB system, so do not miss out on this amazing deal! If you do not think my price is fair, I could not care less! I will accept ANY REASONABLE offer, so send ALL of your REASONABLE offers my way. Local pickup is ONLY available, and there is NO local delivery or shipping and handling, so please do not ask for those.
