tro the best of my knowloedge, when you dont pump the sub to its max its always good. when you max it thats when you can rip ip and so on. so i dont kown where you coming from that its not good. but ya thanks for the great info

ribeiro can most likely back me up here since he works with my buddi jorge at number one sound, when you have an amp that under powers the sub like if the sub wants 1000rms and you only give 300-500rms thats bad for the sub, im not saying if you pump it or not im talking about the amp. BUMP for killer subs tho

its not necessarily bad, it tends to be bad because most people tend to turn up the gain more than necessary which pushes the signal to clip. and sending the clipped signal to the sub is bad.
