Anyone know

If there is a cheaper place to get CF emblems?

I found this place, but $25 per emblem + shipping seems a little steep, or is that just me?

I think thats a bit steep, it only cost more becuase of the CF, but CF would look good with your cars theme...If it has one...You should CF the interior!

Ill find you some pics of what it looks like unless of course you already did it!

That price is not too bad. They look really good in person. I had the front emblem and side emblems on my car a long time ago back when it was white. I have mad carbon fiber on my car everywhere, theres some pics of it on my cardomain page on the last pages if you want to check it out. I actually think the price of them has gone down some from when I bought them. Get them, you'll be happy with them. I rocked mine until I shaved everything.

Good to hear. This is pretty much what I wanted. A first hand account of quality. Cause regardless, thats expensive. $75+ for 3 emblems is steep for me lol.

I'll be ordering those after the holiday season is over and I recover from the literal stab in the wallet that is christmas.

Btw - DC, when your car was white, and had the CF mirrors... were those overlays or the real thing? If they were the real thing, where did you get them? I think that would be a good accent peice.

I still have them on my car now. They are actually overlays, thats the only thing that I could find. They were pretty expensive to be overlays. The were $300. Thats why they are still up there cause they costed so much. They do look really good and are real carbon fiber. I got them from Rk Sport. They are really good quality and fitment also, they use some crazy glue to hold them, they have been holding for like 5 yrs now, it was one of my 1st mods when I was in the c/f phase!

Why do you think real carbon fiber hoods cost $1000+?

I used to have a carbon fiber dash kit. It was like $300 also. But it was real, the fibers cut my hands a couple of times when I was trying to install it. I can't remember the name of the company that made mine, cause it was a while back. I ordered it through RKsport. Make sure you pay the money and get real c/f, if not you will end up with something that is printed c/f and looks really cheesy and you won't even want to install it. Trust me I've seen them on a buddys car that always wants cheap.

They aren't overlays. A overlay covers the factory mirror. That is a whole replacement mirror. And they also are not "real" carbon fiber. That is the printed carbon fiber that I was talking about. All it is is a carbon fiber painted pattern. Thats how alot of things are now, but they still call them c/f.
