Question On average, how much do GFX cut down on road clearance?

Just curious cause the area I live in has tall speed bumps and I really don't want to pull the front clip off going over one. I know GFX cut down on clearance but I'm curious as to how much is lost due to installing GFX. I know the number will vary with each kit, I'm just trying to get a general idea.

Thanks

My GFX kit is comparable to the air dam under the front nose... it goes down about the same. So as an easy reference, if you scrape your airdam then you'll prolly scrape the front valence.

actually you'd scrape the front valence more than the airdam cuz it sticks out more.

i scrape my airdam a heck of a lot more than my front gfx piece, of course the ww kit comes with an extended airdam. you really gotta learn to take the bumps and inclines on an angle. if you can do that (and do it slowly) youll be fine. The first month I had my GFX i ran them right into a parking stump. That was several years ago, and after a quick touch up, ive had no problems with the front piece. The side pieces are a different story alltogether when youre trying to jack up the car.

My side skirts are 6 inches off the ground if I remember right. So I think my fronts the same besides where it curves up at the nose..

yeah the airdam is lower, the only thing I can see though is if your nose sticks out far you might scrape before the wheels get to the incline.
