Hey guys, I was at a custom shop the other day (I will report on my experience when it's complete - so far very positive!) and I saw some sick looking 22's. When I asked the shop keeper about them he said not to bother, they do look real good, but it's black chrome and everyone's had problems with it.
From what I gathered "black chrome" is chrome with a film coating applied (whatever they do it looks unbelievable) but that any little stone chip and all the film will peel right off.

Anyone have any experience or know any more about this stuff?
