Change Up The Look

Most of you know how my car looks right now.. Well I got to thinking about changing up the look since I am running into cars that looks exactly like my and people seem to mistake them for me and I don't like that.. Right now I am all blacked out. The new look I am thinking about is going to unblack the tail lights and paint my berger panel semi gloss black and get clear corners with the black backing from the front.. I plan to just leave my sidemarkers and third brake light black since they seem to blend in better to the car..

I think it would look really neat with the semi gloss panel and the chrome letters still on there along with the normal tails... This will also bring a little more color to the car since right now its really just ALL black..

I've always been a huge fan of all black myself.

Let me think about it and see if I can come up with some ideas that would look really good.

I do like the idea of the whistler turn signals.

I too love the all black.. But I wanna change it up a little.. Also the niteshades on my tail lights are seeming to wear off (i dont know why) so this would be the route I go instead of re-tinting them..

I keep going back and forth on if I should do this or not.. I really love the stealth all black look! Does anyone have any other ideas that I could do to the car to make it stand out from the crowd?

Youre not really changing that much from it being black. The tail lights is the only thing. The corners are going to look better, but I would nite shade them becuase the ones I got anyway didnt look as dark as I wanted, so I nite shaded them.

I am thinking about getting these and doing a custom LED board in them and then takin some VHT and "lightly" tinting them so they are smoked so you cant see the leds.. Also I think I may do that same thing with the sidemakers...

What do you think of that idea?

I have been thinking alot about the rear light on the LS1 camaro, and what i have come up with is to take the rear lights from the earlier camaro wich looks like this.
I think they are mutch beter looking in my opinion.

And i did also find a nice set of aftermarket lights. I have seen them on a camaro on Ebay but have not found them after that.

I almost got the earlier year ones.. I just dont like the amber section on the new ones.

Derek I think they made that picture look a lot darker than they actually are. Mine look just like that and look lighter. I think youll be more dissapointed having a black car with those. Tint for sure.

Yeah I know they are lighter.. But you wont really actually even see the black anyways because of the LEDs i am putting in there and with the tinted face..

That works until you shut the car off. Often I look at my car when its parked when I decide what I want to do with it.

Well just look at my sig. my headlights and gfx are black... the corners are an odd off color. Thats why I tinted them.

I know Justin.. I am going to tint mine as well.. By doing it to a clear corner I wont have the ugly orange showing through making the black match better.. I also had plans to have the orange be normal like every other turn. But then for added coolness flip a switch and the orange flips off and red comes on.. Just giving them a mean look to go with the halos..

If you really like the way your car looks, keep it the way it is. But if you want to et it apart, do the ideas you have. It really won't be too much different form the look you have now. But I think the regular colored tails might look a little odd with the rest of the car still pretty much blacked.

doing the lights all led will be a big change that most people aren't going to have (too much work for the average bolt on guy)
