To chrome, or not to chrome
well as you all know my rear is sportin the chrome CAMARO inserts. well i like them up close and the fact that theyre chrome makes a big dif, but from a distance they look like poo. i'm thinking of maybe selling the chrome inserts for 60 bucks (95 bucks regularly) and then buying black urethane letters from rksport...any thoughts?

post some shots of Carmen's(the car!) rear with thte chrome... can't remember what it looks like of the top of my head...

Also, when buying new ones, check out this site. They have HUGE selection of color options. http://www.autotrimdesign.net/detail...&category=8253

I say stick with the chrome on yours.. do you have any far away shots of the rear? You said thats where the issue of them looking funny is. From that distance there, I can still tell they are chrome, and they still look good to me.
|
if you go balck i got my vinyl inserts for like 10 bucks including shipping somehwere, but i forgot where. i can look it up if you're intrested in that.

Brent does em too
But the chrome looks sweet in my opinion |
yeah, but brent (and a lot of others) don't do the domed polyurethane ones, which look so much better than the regular ones, at least IMO.
|
stay with chrome. EVERYONE has the red/black theme.
|
Ill trade ya..
|
tru dat. i do like the price of the domed ones from afterthoughtauto. 35 bucks! dam. the thing is with the chrome, the letters are the color of whatever is around them. if they were polished aluminum then they would shine and they'd be the same color...its weird...

I like the chrome

i like the chrome, bc it draws more attention to your chrome pipe tips at the same time, with those 2 chrome in the rear end.............
